In this lesson, bass instructor Ryan Byrne plays the familiar melody, “Joy To The World”, in it’s original Ionian mode (major key), then plays it in Mixolydian, Dorian, and Aeolian (natural minor) modes to demonstrate the difference in the sound of the modes, pointing out their respective altered notes.
